Have a REAP technician visit your home (or connect virtually) to determine your home's energy efficiency Customers may qualify to have energy-saving appliances and devices installed in their homes for FREE.

The process is easy:

Step 1: Fill out the questionnaire below to see if you qualify (household income determines eligibility)

Step 2: Schedule your REAP appointment with just a few clicks.

Step 3: You and a technician complete the home energy survey and then discuss your options.

REAP includes these free services:

  • An in-home or remote comprehensive assessment of your home with energy efficiency recommendations
  • A home health and safety analysis

REAP may also include these free services**:

  • Replacement of inefficient appliances with ENERGY STAR® units, such as a refridgerator, air purifier, dehumidifier and/or window air conditioners
  • Installation of a smart programmable thermostat
  • Potential LED lighting installation
  • Weatherization improvements such as insulation, and air/duct sealing

Proof of income required at time of REAP visit

*Customers will receive a $50 bill credit only after a REAP home energy survey is completed. Customers are eligible for REAP if they have a current PSEG Long Island customer account, live within the service territory, not had a REAP visit within the last five years and meet the 2025 Income Guidelines (80% of State Median Income) based on total income for entire household. Bill credits are processed 4-6 weeks after REAP visit is completed. Please visit PSEGLINY.com/efficiency for more details.

**A new thermostat and/or potential appliance replacement will be determined based on the REAP Comprehensive Assessment conducted by the technician at the time of the visit.
